- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Since purchasing our ArrowQuip chute in the summer of 2015, cattle working has become a lot less stressful. For example, a few weeks ago, we branded some heifers and we had to use our old manual squeeze chute. There is always a lot more grumbling amongst everyone when we have to do that. My job was to hold the tail and the rear bar. I was always getting griped at because the cow would kick the bar or I wouldn’t get it up behind them fast enough. If we would have been using the Arrowquip chute, the bar stops would have held the bar in place, and I could have moved it forward as the cow moved forward some. Just this past weekend, we were working some cows and calves using my husband’s grandfather’s old chute. We had one cow that rared up and went over the back tail gate while another cow was in the chute. Needless to say, she got stuck about half-way over the gate and we spent a good 30 minutes getting her free. If we would have been able to have used the Arrowquip chute, this never would have happened. As you can clearly see, we truly love our Arrowqup chute and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
